Performance evaluation
21-22 May 2019, NFC STE performance as a separate division of NFC KIPT was evaluated.
Chairman of the expert commission, academician Volodymyr Seminozhenko, noted in the audit conclusion the great practical value of the specific results of NFC STE activities in the following areas:
- Diversification of nuclear fuel for Ukrainian NPPs;
- Development of neutron-absorbing materials and creation of absorber rods and RCCA for reactors;
- Development and creation of nuclear fuel in the form of fuel rods and fuel assemblies for research reactors, including the NSC KIPT “Neutron Source” facility.
