Full load of South-Ukraine NPP with fuel "Westinghouse"

At the South-Ukraine NPP Unit 3, the important and significant for Ukraine stage of activities to implement the alternative fuel manufactured by Westinghouse at Ukrainian NPPs has been completed: 163 modified design fuel assemblies were loaded into its core after the outage. Thus, South-Ukraine NPP Unit 3 has become the first NPP unit in Ukraine to operate with exclusively Westinghouse fuel. In honor of this event, a meeting of the Command Centre on implementation of Westinghouse fuel in Ukraine was held at the South-Ukraine NPP.
