Putting RWFA into Commercial Operation at SUNPP Unit 3

     On October 8, 2019, NTC STE NSC KIPT Chief Engineer participated in the Commission established by SS SUNPP Director General’s Order No 1602 of October 8, 2019 “On the Establishment of the Commission on Putting Westinghouse RWFA in Commercial Operation at the SUNPP Unit 3” to consider the possibility of transferring Westinghouse RWFA from the pilot to commercial operation at the SUNPP Unit 3. The Commission decided that:

Based on the results of works completed in accordance with PM.3.0023.0066 “Program and Methodology for Putting Westinghouse RWFA in Commercial Operation at SUNPP Unit 3” and review of the documents listed in Annex A, RWFA is ready to be put into commercial operation at SUNPP Unit 3.

On the results of the Commission a Protocol has been drawn up.
