Міжнародна конференція молодих вчених по матеріалознавству та інженерії поверхні "MSSE-2021"

On September 22-24, 2021, the Lviv Palace of Arts hosted the International Conference of Young Scientists in Materials Science and Surface Engineering, organized by the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Karpenko Institute of Physics and Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (KIPM).

The purpose of the conference is to support young scientists, specialists and graduate students of the FMI of NAS of Ukraine and other scientific and educational institutions in improving their professional qualifications and scientific level, as well as to exchange ideas and approaches, test new scientific results, gain experience in public presentation and defense of the main provisions of scientific research.

The conference covered 4 areas:«Fracture Mechanics and Strength of Materials», «Corrosion Protection of Materials», «Modern Problems of Materials Science», «Information and Diagnostic Systems».

MSSE2021 was attended by young scientists and specialists from different cities of Ukraine - Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Lviv, etc. - and other countries - the United States of America, Mexico, Poland, France, and Iran. In total, the young scientists represented 24 national and 9 foreign academic, university, research institutions and centers, including the NFC STE NSC KIPT.

The conference was supported by the Directorate of the Karpenko Institute of Physics and Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the trade union committee of the Institute, SE IC Techno-Resource, SE Gasothermic, SE IC Lvivantikor, Electro Company and Energoresurs-Invest Corporation, as well as the Lviv City Council, Lviv Conference Bureau and the program "Support Package for the Development of the Conference Industry in Lviv".».

Ihor Chernov, Junior Researcher, NFC STE NSC KIPT, made a presentation on behalf of the NFC STE NSC KIPT.
